The individualland is literally a cyber space where the world's largest minority, the individual is considered as the most important. Whether it is the political discourse, social, economic or cultural, the debate essentially revolves around communities, groups, platforms, nations or states. Political power is exercised in the name of the "people" which is essentially an amalgam of a number of individuals However, it is tragic that the very basic unit of political power which is the individual is not only ignored but down right abused by the state. This is true of both the so called Northern and Southern parts of the world.
The individual, that single most important entity is lost. individualland has been created by an individual that feels compelled to re-claim the space for individuals the world over. It might be decades before real space can be reclaimed by the world's single largest minority but given the open, embracing arms of cyber world, it is hoped that it can be a beginning.
The individualland is a liberal space that views the world from the prism of political, economic and cultural liberalism paradigm and believes firstly in the individual, secondly in individual freedom and then consequently social responsibility but from the reference point of the individual. Individu-land is a space for liberal , secular individuals who believe that the state is for the individual and not vice versa, minimum government is more than enough, private entrepreneurship is the vehicle and root of creativity and progress, markets need to be open and globalization to be embraced. In other words, the individu- land is unabashedly a liberal space in cyber world meant for liberals all over the world.
