IL’s areas of expertise include Media literacy and reforms, Psychological counseling, Governance reform, Gender equity and equality including Gender based police reforms, Countering violent extremism, ...Leadership and communications skills and other peace building initiatives. IL has the expertise of engaging various categories of stakeholders including youth, women, government officials, civil society organizations (CSOs), business community, corporate sector, police and law enforcement agencies and marginalized segments like persons with disabilities and transgender persons. IL has considerable experience of using tools ranging from research based publications, audio-visual tools, capacity building trainings, street theatre and performances, focus group discussions, seminars and conferences, as well as social media (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) to engage its audience.
IL has a team of experienced facilitators with expertise in good governance, media reforms, media and informa tion literacy, mobile and data journalism, gender based police reforms, leadership and communications, countering violent extremism including countering terrorism financing. The facilitators have international experience having moderated sessions in different countries on the aforementioned topics. The team of moderators has worked with various stakeholders including youth, police, law enforcement agencies (LEAs), women, CSOs, government officials, local government officials, and others. Moreover, we have also conducted baseline research for identification of gaps and developed training materials to support its capacity building workshops.
